President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in his address to the people of the Republic said: "Solution of environmental problems is one of the priorities of our Government." Much has been made by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan in this direction. Unfortunately, environmental problems are not easy to resolve. And the main problem is what we have in our heads.

Our health depends a lot on the quality of the environment. Our health is a fundamental human right and one of the main goals of civilization. Article 74 of Federal Law of Russia on environmental protection states that mastery of the minimum of ecological knowledge is necessary for the formation of ecological culture of citizens, in all elementary, secondary and higher educational institutions, regardless of profile, and teaching environmental knowledge is compulsory. The mandatory teaching of environmental knowledge is among the most important principles of environmental policy of Russia. Teachers in an accessible and comprehensible form explain to the students what's legal and what's not, and how to properly behave in the natural environment. However, everything is not crystal clear in the real life. Thus, the formation of ecological literacy of youth is an essential task.

This collection of interactive videos on a variety of environmental problems is designed for active discussions with children and junior youth these problems on the basis of real cases from our daily life. To discuss and actually apply, and not only to listen to boring lectures and do nothing – that is the meaning of the project!

The main goal of the project is to raise ecological awareness and prevent environmental offences among children and junior youth.

The main objective of the project is to provide to the school teachers materials for extracurricular lessons on environmental education, as well as attractive video materials for the lessons.

The main activities of the project is writing the scripts and filming the videos on environmental issues, as well as conducting seminars, trainings and round tables, and disseminating the materials.

Expected results: increased environmental responsibility and awareness among school youth.
