"ZIPoPo in mass-media: TV, Radio and Newspapers"
ZIPoPo TV and Radio Talk-Shows and Newspaper Columns in Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Croatia, Bulgaria
ZIPoPo was first launched in 1994 as a weekly television
talk-show for youth at the National TV Studio of the Republic of Tatarstan,
province of Russia. It became the most popular TV programme for youth in
1994-1999 and was aired for a potential audience of 4 mln people. Later
ZIPoPo became known and spread as a successful educational project for
children, adolescents and youth, aimed at promotion of ethically based decision
making, helping young people to develop their moral principles and analyze and
correct their behaviour creatively in a positive and constructive way. Today
ZIPoPo methodology is being used by teachers, psychologists, social workers and
theater groups in 66 countries, with more than 3000
facilitators trained to host the show. Over 2 mln people were approached through mass media during over 20 years of its
existence.
Many talented ZIPoPo show facilitators conducted shows on TV and radio, such as Mahnoz Jonmahmadova in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Anton Medvedev in Brest (Belarus), Robert Zuber in Zagreb (Croatia), a group of ZIPoPo trainees in Rousse (Bulgaria), and in Russia: Sviatoslav Abramov in Izhevsk, Tatiana Moroz in Khabarovsk, Leonid Osokin in Ulan-Ude, Oksana Solomchenko in Tomsk, creative team in Orienburg, as well as Artur Aiupov, Elena Ponomareva-Galiavetdinova, Inga Lebedeva-Bela, Marat Iiasov, Asia Bakirova and others in Kazan. Elena Ponomareva-Galiavetdinova has published ZIPoPo column in the "Youth of Tatarstan" newspaper for over 25 thousand readers in the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation).
