The program of moral education for children, adolescents and youth
"Altyn Yul" (Golden Way) is an active form of education, which is built on the
methodology of cooperation and collective ethically based decision-making; it
includes elements of role-playing and involves instant creation of interactive
situations. The program has four features that make it a unique and effective
means of education for the young generation. First, it focuses on finding a
positive and constructive solution to problematic situations, based on moral
values. Second, it is based on a belief that human beings are noble creatures.
Third, it uses an innovative format of micro-drama as a powerful means of
personal transformation. Fourth, it implements a long-term program of moral
development consisting of more than 100 topics touching the most critical issues
of youth's life and designed for five years of weekly lessons with the students
of all ages.
Since 2008, trainings to provide teachers, psychologists, social workers, pedagogy students and parents with the methodology for the Golden Way lessons were made in numerous cities of Russia, including Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Zelenodolsk (Republic of Tatarstan), and Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg. Thousands of professionals were trained, and each of them was given a set consisiting of a DVD with videos and a Manual.
