"People's Theater"

Theater Project in Germany, Since 1999

                                                                    

In 1999 a creative team of students in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany started a theater group “Stop&Act” with the objective to promote moral education for children and youth in Germany. Enthusiasm and undoubted success of their shows in a number of schools in the cities of Frankfurt and Offenbach led to the creation of a professional group, "People's Theater", a Non-Profit Association, aimed at supporting personal and social competence in adolescents and children, thereby contributing to the prevention of violence in schools as well as initiating integration processes. During more than fifteen years of its existence, this group has performed more than five thousand times in hundreds of schools all over Germany, using the method of theatrical ZIPoPo. "People's Theater" is recognized as one of the best social projects in Germany and received many awards, including award of Chancellor Gerhard Schroder in 2004 and Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2006. Programs are performed by 15 young people, including volunteers not only from Germany but also Switzerland, Czech Republic and other countries. ACME provides methodological assistance to the "People's Theater".

wir freuen uns, dir zur Weihnachtszeit unseren neuen Newsletter präsentieren zu können. In diesem lernst du die neuen Aktions-Teamler kennen und die alten Hasen aus dem Büro stellen sich auch nochmal vor. Neben der Vorstellung berichten wir über die Entwicklungen der letzten Zeit. Zusätzlich zum Newsletter wollen wir dich auf eine neue geniale App aufmerksam machen, mit der du uns eine große Freude machen kannst. Unter dem Motto „doing good made easy“ hat unser Alumni Lukas Fellhauer (Aktionsteam 2010/11) die Firma „Nate“ mitgegründet. Mit der von ihm mitentwickelten App kannst du an uns Spenden, ohne eigenes Geld dafür einzusetzen. Das Ganze funktioniert einfach dadurch, dass du dein Smartphone entsperrt. Mehr darüber erfährst du durchs klicken auf das untenstehende Banner.   

                                                       

Wir haben die App selbst schon mal getestet und sind davon begeistert. Da die App noch am Anfang steht, wird nicht immer alles sofort aktualisiert und man kann derzeit noch begrenzt durchs Entsperren spenden. Je mehr Menschen diese App aber benutzen, desto mehr Firmen werden diese auch mit Werbung und Geldern unterstützen und desto mehr kann man spenden. Melde dich also an und hilf uns jedes Mal beim Handy-Entsperren. Viel einfacher geht es nicht. Gerne auch an Freunde, Verwandte und Bekannte weiterleiten. Danke auch an Lukas und Nate für die tolle Initiative.
